Registration
For registration, you need to have an ACM/ICPC coach account. To
create one, or to register your teams,
please visit this page.
If you're considering participating but don't know the details of
participating students, please register now to guarantee slots for
your teams. You can enter the details of the students at a later
time.
Last day for registration is November 26, 2004. Please register early.
Planning Your Trip
All teams must arrive to Kuwait no later than Tuesday November 30, 2004 evening.
The event will start at 9:00am on Wednesday December 1, 2004.
The event will last for two days. It will end late night Thursday
December 2, 2004. The earliest time for departure is Friday
December 3.
Travel Support
We have a limited travel support grant. The only travel support we
can offer at this point is US$ 500 payable upon arrival. The rules
for travel support are:

Application for travel support is for institutes and not for
teams: One travel support grant per institute.

The institute whose team have won a national contest will be
granted a travel grant.

Priority is for institutes participating for the first time.

Priority is for countries whose Kuwait Airways travel cost to
Kuwait exceeds US$ 350 per ticket.

Otherwise, it's first-requested, first-granted basis.

Accommoations
As announced in the call-for-participation document, Kuwait
University will be covering the accommodation cost for one team (a
maximum of three contestants and a coach,) per participating
institute.
The prices for the hotel are:

Visa to Kuwait
We are now accepting requests for Visas. To help us speed up the
process, please make sure we receive clear photocopies (or scans,)
of passports. Also it would be better if one coach per institute
handles this process for all applicants from their institute.
You may email or fast-courier your documents. But first make sure
you read the following instructions carefully:

GCC citizens don't require a visa to enter Kuwait.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months from December.
The expiry date should be no sooner than June 2005.

Please send clear photocopies of vital passport pages. This should
include all pages of personal information including:
names, parents' names, birth place and date, passport issue place
and date.

Make sure to include the first page of the passport that indicates
the issuing country and the passport number (in print, not
perforation.)

If you're not a citizen of the country you're currently
resident in, please photocopy the page that shows a valid
residency permit.

If your passport has been renewed, make sure to include the
renewal page.

When scanning,
use 150dpi setting (no more, no less, plz.) Don't enlarge or
shrink the paper size; Keep it 100%
In your email, please include the
following information:
Name, Email, University, Nationality, Passport #,
and number of attached scanned passport pages.
Pack the scans of each applicant in a separate zip file.
Use the passport number as a name for the zip file.
