Changes in contest format from last year's

Here's a list of changes in the contest format that will be applied this year, that is different from last year's. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify this list (in accordance with ICPC regional rules) up until one week before the contest date.
  1. All books and other reference materials that contestants wish to have during the contest, must be surrendered after the practice session. No reference material will be allowed to enter the contest hall on the day of the contest.

Reference material are still allowed during the contest, this change only affects when the references are brought into the contest hall.

During the afternoon break on the first day, busses will be taking contestants back to the hotel before taking them to the practice session. We expect all contestants to bring their references at that time. Exact procedure will be explained during the introduction ceremony.

  2. There will no longer be a single time-limit for all problems. Each problem may have its own time-limit.

The time-limit of a problem will not be published.

The time limit for each problem will be at least four times the slowest judge's solution. At least two Judges would have solved each problem independently, one in C and one in Java.
